Referring to an order of the Chief Secretary, Nagaland, dated the 20th April, 2020 and a continuation of the order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, dated the 20th April 2020, and to that effect, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhandari, Tiameren Chang NCS, on the same day, the 20th April 2020, issued an order which stated that lockdown measures shall remain in force under Bhandari Sub-division, Wokha district up to 03.05.2020 to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the sub division.

The order, coming into immediate effect, further stated that as a matter of abundant caution, the total lockdown conditions and sealing of inter- state border under Bhandari Sub-division shall continue to be imposed.

Inter-state movement of vehicles and individuals will not be allowed and all vehicular movement of non-essential nature is prohibited and no private or commercial vehicles will be allowed to carry passengers, it further stated.
