Shamator Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) / HQ 7 Sector AR distributed Wheelchairs to Old and Specially Abled Villagers at CHC Shamator on 1st February 2023.

Smiles were accompanied by tears of joy as wheelchairs were donated to the Old and Specially Abled, in a simple ceremony at the Community Health Centre on Wednesday.

Shamator Battalion true to the Motto ‘Friends of Hill People’ have always made an earnest endeavor to help and support the needy, especially in the remote part of Nagaland.

The initiative and commitment of the Assam Rifles was highly appreciated by the Medical Officer in-charge of CHC, Shamator; who expressed his heartfelt gratitude and thankfulness to the Battalion for their kind gesture.
