To ensure the wellbeing of the Welfare Centres, Advisor for Social Welfare, Wangpang Konyak visited CDPO Office Pungro, Kiphire on 9th May 2025 accompanied by Advisor for Department of Fire Emergency & Home Guard Civil Defence, Relief and Rehabilitation,  Kiusumew Yimkhuing.

Konyak in his short speech encouraged the gathering to work in a close coordination with all concerned departments so as to uplift the vulnerable sections of the society and to ensure proper implementation of all schemes provided by the ministry of social welfare. Wangpang also stressed on enrollment of Adhaar to be monitored as per the laid down criteria by the department and to ensure that the schemes reached to the intended beneficiaries in time.

Later, the team also visited Mimi Village, where Wangpang urged the citizens to put unceasing efforts with sincerity and tolerance for the upliftment of the downtrodden communities.
