In view of the upcoming G20 summit to be held at Kohima, the Kohima District Administration organised a social work on 3rd April 2023 in and around Kohima Town.

Government departments were divided into thirteen groups and assigned at various designated areas under one team leader each for the social work. Removal of debris, garbage, clogged drainage, overgrown bushes were cleared along the road side during the social work. Vehicles for waste pick up and disposal were also arranged by involving various departments and 4th NAP Thizama at various locations.

During the social work, ADC Kohima, Rhosietho Nguori, NCS was the overall incharge while the Sector Magistrates also monitored the social work in their respective sectors.
