STATE ROUND UP ON COVID-19 LAW & ORDER

Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland Abhijit Sinha IAS issued the District round report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services for the 6th of April 2020. According to the report, 2 persons violated the order of lockdown and 17 persons were bound down. There was no any incidents report of Law & order and action taken.

According to the report, shops for food grains and groceries were opened in all the districts except for Mokokchung, closed yesterday in order to regulate the movement report stated. All shops of food grains & Groceries opened in the state. According to the report Milk shop at Mokokchung are closed yesterday in order to regulate the movement. As reported in all the district Medicine shops are opened.  

On essential services, manufacturing, distribution & e-commerce, no report of restriction was imposed on the movement of commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and service providers like electricity, telecommunication, fuels etc. in the State in regard of COVID-19. The report stated that Dimapur District Administration has established a community kitchen and food has been distributed with the help of NGOs. Also permits were issued to vehicles for transportation of essential commodities and retail shops opened from 9 am to 2pm According to the report till date in Wokha District 547 (Five hundred forty seven) numbers of person have been provided with food grains.
