The total lockdown which was imposed on 4th to 10th August 2020 has been extended for another 7th days in the 11th to 17th August 2020.Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K has informed that the public movement shall remain strictly prohibited except on medical emergencies.

All business/commercial establishments, shops shall remain closed. Pharmacies are exempted. Movement of private vehicles except those permitted is banned. All social, cultural, religious and academic gathering shall be banned. Not more than 20 people will be permitted in case of funerals. No movement will be permitted in or out of Aboi town. Any person found violating the order will be penalised under the relevant provisions of the law.
