The total lockdown in Tizit sub-division has extended for another 2 days 10th &11th August 2020 and would be lifted 12th August 2020.Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K has informed that during the period of lockdown the movement of public shall remain strictly prohibited except on medical emergencies. All business/commercial establishments, shops shall remain closed. Movement of private vehicles except those permitted is banned. All social, cultural, religious, academic gathering shall be banned. Not more than 20 people will be permitted in case of funerals. A register containing the names and contact details of all those who attend must be mandatorily maintained and submitted to the concerned sub-divisional officer. No movement will be permitted in or out of Tizit sub-division. Anyone found violating the order will be penalised under relevant provisions of the law.
