Traffic Awareness Seminar was organized by Longleng Police in collaboration with Drivers Union Longleng on 13th April 2023 at the Superintendent of Police conference hall in Longleng.

Dr. Pritpal Kaur Betra, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Longleng described traffic etiquette, Motor Vehicle Act 1988, requirements of documents, following traffic rules, not using mobile/drinking while driving, etc. She said that driving a vehicle has a big responsibility to ensure safety and everyone should follow traffic rules, and help in golden hour as a good samaritan.

I. Bunglang Chang, NPS, SDPO Longleng taught Traffic offense (MV Act 1988), ASI Limatemjen, I/C, traffic cell Longleng, taught Traffic rules and signs, and Dr. Waulong, Phom District Hospital Longleng taught and demonstrated on First Aid.

The programme was attended by the District Drivers Union Longleng, Taxi Union Longleng, All Wards' representatives, Drivers, Students, Police cadets, and Medical Department. The programme was followed by free medical checkups by District Hospital Longleng and Helmets were given to the bike riders.
