The Sub-Treasury Officer, Tseminyu has informed that the Pensioners' Annual physical Verification for 2026, will be conducted primarily through the Digital Life Certificate (DLC) via the Jeevan Pramaan application (utilizing Aadhaar-based Face Authentication or Biometric verification).
1. Primary Mode of Physical Verification - Digital Life Certificate: All pensioners are strongly advised to submit their Digital Life Certificate online using the Jeevan Pramaan Application. Pensioners who successfully submit their Digital Life Certificate online are fully exempted from physically visiting the Sub-Treasury for verification.
The submission of Digital Life Certificate must be completed on or before 16th October 2026.
2. Important Precaution Regarding Aadhaar & PPO Data Matching: Submission of Digital Life Certificate requires a valid Aadhaar number for biometric/face authentication.
Even after successful biometric capture and submission on the Jeevan Pramaan Application, the certificate will be rejected at the Treasury Level if there are mismatches between the pensioner's details in Aadhaar (such as name or date of birth) and the official PPO records. Pensioners are advised to ensure data consistency prior to submission.
3. Sub-Treasury Helpdesk Assistance: To assist pensioners who face technical difficulties with smartphone registration or biometric submission, a Dedicated DLC Helpdesk has been set up at the Sub-Treasury. Pensioners may visit the office during working hours for hands-on assistance with the digital submission process.
4. Physical Verification by Exception Only: Physical in-person verification at the Sub-Treasury will no longer follow a fixed schedule according to Pension File Numbers. Physical verification will be entertained only as an exception for pensioners who are genuinely unable to submit their Life Certificate digitally due to data mismatch errors or physical constraints.
5. Requirements for Physical Verification: Pensioners coming to the Sub-Treasury must present valid reasons for non-submission of a DLC, along with the following documents: PPO Book; Life Certificate Form (duly attested by a Gazetted Officer); Valid ID Card issued by the Pensioners' Association; Submission Window: Physical verification for exception cases will be conducted from 12th October 2026 to 16th October 2026 during office hours.
6. Incapacitated / Elderly Pensioners: Pensioners aged 80 years and above who are unable to submit DLC, or are incapacitated by bodily illness or infirmity, and in all cases where such inability may be alleged, shall be required to submit their residential address and contact numbers. Treasury Officials will be deputed to undertake door-to-door verification in all such cases.
Pensioners are urged to complete their digital submission at the earliest to avoid last minute delays. Pension disbursement for the month of October 2026 will be withheld for any pensioner who fails to complete either DLC submission or physical verification by the stipulated deadline.
