The District Task Force and in collaboration with Assam Rifles, Kiphire carried out a special vaccination drive on Covid-19  at Helipad ground, Kiphire and carried out sensitisation program at multiple villages on 4th July 2021.

The special vaccination drive was organised for the eligible beneficiaries of both 18-44 years and 45 years and above at Helipad ground, Kiphire. During the drive a total number of 276 beneficiaries were availed Vaccine.

The medical team led by DIO, Dr.K. Pewezo Khalo, conducted sensitisation on Covid-19 vaccination at Kesitong village, Changchore village and Kichang village respectively. Dr. Khalo stated that the team spoke on importance of Vaccine and the people response on Covid-19 vaccine was positive.
