A special vaccination drive was carried out for Pungro town and its neighboring villages on 30th June 2021 under the supervision of ADC, Pungro, Abhinav Shivam, IAS and Medical team.

The ADC stated that during the drive they had faced a lot of issues due to rumors, but after briefing on the importance of vaccination, people turned up for vaccination in good numbers and took the vaccines. The vaccination was carried out at Rest House ward, Officers ward, Badminton ward,  Likimro Hydro Electrical Project, Longkhimong village and Tsurewong village respectively.

During the drive, a total of 167 beneficiaries took vaccine. The Medical team was led by Dr. Sato, Dr. Kisheka and Dr.Siku.
