The Kiphire District Task Force meeting was held on 14th June 2021 at DC's conference hall, Kiphire.

MLA & Chairman DPDB, Kiphire, T.Yangseo Sangtam said that vaccine can save precious life during the Covid-19 pandemic. While stating that people should not believe on false information about vaccine on social media, he encouraged the citizens to avail vaccine for preventive measures.He also urgedthe members to initiate even in rural areas to contain the spread of the disease. Yangseo said that village authorities should not hamper the vaccination drive by prohibiting medical team, instead they should give their co-operation during the vaccination drive. He lauded the Administration, DTF, Medical Team, Front line workers, Tribal hohos, Civil Societies, Church leaders and NGOs for the tireless effort round the clock in the fight against the pandemic.

Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DTF, Rahul Mali, IAS, said that patients comes to the hospital only after the condition worsen, where he urgedall to come to the hospital at the early stage, if anyone is having any symptoms. Mali also highlighted the DTF activities and strategies for the entire district.

The MLA also visited the Covid patients at Covid Hospital and later visited the ongoing Oxygen Plant construction at the District Hospital. He also donated 400 bags of rice and Ayush medicine to the daily wage earners and labourers, PPE Kits, N-95 mask and layer mask.
