Along with the rest of the world the Pangthet Team, Monyakshu Village observed World Environment Day on 5th June 2023 by organising a plantation drive in and around Monyakshu Village, Mon. Around 200 saplings were planted on account of the World Environment Day 2023 under the slogan "Plant Trees Eradicate Pollution".

Pangthet is a team of unemployed youth from Monyakshu Village under Mon district. The main objective of the team is to give a voluntary helping hand to the poor and the needy. The team has been initiating plantation drive and has organized other social activities since its inception in 2021. The team extended gratitude to the Theological Fellowship of Monyakshu for rendering assistance during the plantation.
