The long awaited Yimchungrü Tribal Complex was inaugurated at Shamator on 7th July 2021 by Commandant, 45 Assam Rifles, Col. Amit Thakur. He congratulated the President and his colleagues of Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC) and all its members for bring up such complex dedicated to its people. He also encouraged the leaders stating that society needs strong minded and quality leaders to serve the community.

The programme was chaired by Secretary YTC, T. Solumba while welcome address was delivered by General Secretary YTC, Laji Luyanbah and ADC Shamator, Warren Holohon gave a short speech. Executive Secretary, Yimchungrü Baptist Borü Amukhungto, Dr. S.J. Akhum pronounced the dedicatory prayer.
