Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Sivasagar, Assam has reinforced night curfew from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM in the 5 km belt in Assam side of Sivasagar district bordering Nagaland state with effect from 1st July 2021 for a period of 60 days.
NAGALAND STATE COMMISSION FOR WOMEN APPEALS
Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) has appealed to all stakeholders to observe “World Day against Trafficking in Persons: Victims Voices Lead the Way”, on 30th July, 2021. The commission stated it wishes to take the micro level approach by listening to and learning from survivors of trafficked women and the girl child, in order to map future action plans towards prevention and rehabilitation.
GURUSHALA TO CONDUCT NATIONAL APTITUDE TEST
Principal Director, Directorate of School Education, Shanavas C, IAS, has notified that ‘Gurushala’ will be conducting a National Aptitude Test (G-NAT) free of cost for students of classes 6-10 from 28th to 30th September 2021. The test focuses on identifying a child's key strengths, interests, knowledge and aptitude so as to assist them in preparing for competitive examinations in the future.
