In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, DC Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan has ordered the sealing of Jio Centre Office, 1st Floor City Tower Building for 48 hours with immediate effect during which time sanitization shall be done by the management.

In continuation of advisory issued on the 15th April, 2021, the following guidelines have been added for implementation by all Villages and Wards Authorities under Longleng District for returnees coming to Longleng district from outside the state:

In view of the detection of Covid-19 positive cases at House No.100, Agri ward Longleng, the aforementioned building is hereby declared as sealed area in order to control the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.

All movement of person/vehicles in the sealed area is strictly prohibited and shall remain under active surveillance with immediate effect until further notice.

Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DTCC, Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, NCS has notified that in exercise of the power conferred by section 21, 24 and 25 of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of advertisement and regulation of the trade and commerce, production, supply and distribution) Act 2003 and for effective implementation of section 4,5,6,7 of COTPA 2003, the following sections of COTPA 2003 will be implemented in Kohima District with immediate effect.
