DTCC TO PENALIZE SELLING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS

Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DTCC, Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, NCS has in a notification ordered that the trade license of the shops selling tobacco products near educational institutions will be seized after the third repeated offence under the jurisdiction of Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) and notified all the shopkeepers to strictly implement this order and defaulters will be penalised.

KIPHIRE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION URGES PEOPLE TO BE VIGILANT

The Kiphire District Administration has called upon the people of Kiphire District to be vigilant on outbreak of the African Swine Fever (ASF). In a notification, Chief Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Officer informed that the disease is highly contagious with 100 percent mortality and there is no treatment for the disease.
