NLA INFORMS ON SUBORDINATE LEGISLATION MEETING

            Commissioner & Secretary, NLA, Dr. P.J. Antony has informed that Dr. Imtiwapang Aier, MLA and Chairman of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation has re-scheduled the Meeting of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation which was earlier fixed for 8th February, 2021. The sitting of the Committee will now take place on 9th February, 2021 at 02:00 P.M. in the Committee Room of the Assembly Secretariat, Kohima.

DC MON CONVENES DISTRICT TASK FORCE MEETING

            For effective implementation and administration of Covid-19 Vaccination in the District, DC Mon Thavaseelan K IAS issued a circular convening a meeting of the District Task Force Mon on 8th February 2021 at 12:30 pm in the Conference Hall of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mon. 

            All members have been requested to attend the meeting positively.

PEREN DPDB MEETING

            DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS has informed that the monthly Peren District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of February will be held on 6th February, 2021 at DC's Conference Hall, Peren at 11:00 a.m.

            The DC further informed that the meeting will also be attended by Advisor Water Resources, Namri Nchang and Leader of Opposition, T.R Zeliang.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FROM DIMAPUR TO KOHIMA AND BEYOND FOR MOVEMENT OF VEHICLES

            In view of heavy rockslides between Chumukedima Police Check post till New Chumukedima village on NH - 29 (Loc. - 127.00 KM) in Dimapur district, the Home Department has informed that the stretch of road from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai Bridge) to Kukidolong has been closed from 02.02.2021 onwards till further orders, as a precautionary measure to prevent any injury, loss of life and damage to property.
