In pursuance to the Government notification dated Kohima the 11th August 2023, Deputy commissioner Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Poji has constituted a Committee on "Scheme for grant of award to the Good Samaritan" with the following members: Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung as the Chairman; Superintendent of Police, Mokokchung, member; Chief Medical Officer Mokokchung, member and Regional Transport Officer, Mokokchung as the member secretary.

All pensioners, both recipients of life pensions and family pensions, disbursed from the Kohima South Treasury, have been informed about the Annual Physical Verification for the fiscal year 2023-2024. This verification process is scheduled to take place from September 11th to September 16th, 2023, at the new South Treasury Office located within the DC Office compound.

The Directorate of Higher Education, Nagaland, Kohima informed all students and educational institutions about the commencement of the online scholarship application process for the academic year 2023-24. 

On August 25th, 2023, DC & District Election Officer, Mokokhcung, Thsuvisie Poji, issued a notification for the general public  pertaining to the preparation of draft lists of Polling Stations for all 10 constituencies under Mokokcung district, in accordance with Chapter 11, Para 2.8 of the Returning Officer's Handbook.

In reference to the Press Council of India's Advertisement notice dated July 2nd, 2023, the deadline for submitting entries for the National Awards for Excellence in Journalism has been extended. The new last date for receiving entries is August 31st, 2023, before 5:00 p.m.
