PHED KOHIMA URBAN DIVISION CONDEMNS

The office of the Executive Engineer, PHED Kohima Urban Division has strongly condemned the uncivilized act by the miscreants, who unlawfully entered the restricted compound of the treatment plant at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma and assaulted PHED employees on 5th March 2023.

DIRECTORATE OF SCHOOL EDUCATION INFORM

In view of the security measures being undertaken such as restrictions on the movement of people and vehicles in various parts of Kohima City on account of the scheduled arrival of the Prime Minister and dignitaries for the Swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, it has been notified that all Schools located in Kohima City shall remain closed on 7th March 2023. However, those Schools where students appear for Examinations shall function as usual.

AWO FELICITATES FIRST WOMEN LEGISLATORS IN NLA

The Angami Women Organization (AWO) expressed immense joy at the creation of history by electing the first two women MLAs in the just concluded 14th General Election held on the 27th of February 2023. Salhoutuonuo Kruse, former AWO President was elected from the 8th Western Angami Constituency and Hekani Jakhalu Kense was elected from Dimapur III Constituency.
