The Tuensang District and Development Board conducted its meeting at DPDB Hall, Tuensang on 8th July 2022. The meeting was chaired by ADC Tuensang, Thungchanbemo Tungoe.

Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Shashank Singh, IAS has informed the general public not to travel at NH-2 Mokokchung/Wokha from 10th July 2022 to 16th July 2022 between 7 p.m to 7 a.m. The prohibition is because of public safety and to allow uninterrupted road repair and maintenance work.

Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Shashank Singh, IAS has informed the general public that the road to Suruhuto via Longsa has been blocked due to a heavy landslide. Therefore, all the commuters/public have been advised to avoid taking the said route for safety till the road is cleared.

Nagaland Athletics congratulated Abu Metha, Associate Vice President, Athletics Federation of India, for being appointed as the Chairman of the ‘National Mountain Running Committee’ of the Athletics Federation of India.

Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS informed that to allow uninterrupted road repair and maintenance work at NH-2 Wokha/Mokokchung road 98+300 KM and other portion of Wokha-Chukitong 2 lane road, all forms of vehicular movement from Tsungiki 2nd Bazaar to Doyang Bridge (Mokokchung road) shall remain suspended from 10th July to 16th July 2022 between 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

11th State Level Inter-Departmental Co-Ordination Committee (IDCC) meeting on Civil Registration System (CRS) will be held in the office chamber of Commissioner & Secretary and Statistics Department & Chief Register of Births and Deaths Nagaland Civil Secretariat on 12 July 2022 at 12 PM.
