The Tuensang District and Development Board conducted its meeting at DPDB Hall, Tuensang on 8th July 2022. The meeting was chaired by ADC Tuensang, Thungchanbemo Tungoe.

Executive Engineer, PHED updated on the recent supply water disturbance which was caused due to the damage of 2 out of 4 water supply source by landslide and pipe washed away by heavy rain. He also assured the restoration works are on and normal supply will resume by next week.

Executive Engineer, National Highways also updated on the on-going works between Mokokchung and Tuensang which is on the verge of completion but he added that an extension is needed and will be completing only by this dry season.

ADC Longkhim also appraised the heads of offices of the district to deploy all the designated employees at the Sub-Divisions so as to ease the working system at their respective departments and also to monitor its staffs posted there.

Chang Wedoshi Thangjam inquiried on the ongoing work between National Highway 130 to 140 kms which was responded by EE NH; update on the Tourist Lodge at Yungphang Village; tourist road construction between Khangshou khel to Yungphang village and also the issue with regard to construction of Law & Justice office building at Tuensang for which a meeting will be held. 

Chief Medical Officer, Tuensang gave a detailed report of its office setup, functions, schemes, challenges and achievement to the house while MS, District hospital gave a PowerPoint presetnation. DFO (Fishries) and CWS Chang Wedoshi Thangjam have been entrusted to present their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.

The house reiterated to check on absence of members during DPDB meetings.
