BRIEFING ON COVID-19 ON 12th APRIL 2020 FOR NAGALAND

The full text of the statement on COVID-19 as given by the Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha IAS is as follows :

“As at 5:00 pm today, a total of 74 samples of suspected cases have been sent for testing from the State. The results of 70 samples have been received and they are all negative. The results of the remaining 4 samples are awaited.

SCHOOLS/COLLEGES ETC TO REMAIN CLOSED TILL FURTHER ORDERS

Although the State Government has directed the Nagaland Civil Secretariat and the Directorates in Kohima and Dimapur and all government offices in the districts shall resume their functioning with skeletal staff from Monday, 13th April, 2020, it is clarified that all schools, colleges, universities, all type of educational institutions, coaching, tuition classes etc.
