ODD-EVEN SYSTEM TO CONTINUE TILL AUGUST 18

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS, on 1st August 2021 issued an ordered stating that the Odd-Even System for movement of private vehicles will continue to be implemented under Kohima Municipal area as per Section 115 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988 on all days except Sundays, as mentioned hereunder:

The High Powered Committee on COVID-19 in its meeting held on 31st July 2021, reviewed the COVID-19 situation, and after taking the views of the Health & Family Welfare Department, and considering the proposals of the various Districts Task Forces decided for continuation of the existing lock down measures with further relaxations and re-opening of more activities.
