Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS has notified that some individuals are making use of the public ground at Zaklom Ward, Mon Town to learn/practice driving of motor vehicles and this, not only pose a potential hazard/risk to those, including Children, who use the public ground for recreational activities but also damage the public ground particularly during the monsoon season.

Deputy Commissioner and Electoral Registration Officer, Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has informed that in connection with the publication of Draft Photo Electoral Roll pertaining to Special Summary Revision w.r.t 01.01.2021 as the qualifying date, a meeting with the representatives of political parties and all the AEROs under Kohima District will be held on 16th November, 2020 at 1:00 P.M in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima.
The Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Zunheboto Peter Lichamo notifies that the list of amendment to the draft electoral roll for the 31-Akuluto, 32-Atoizu, 33-Suruhuto, 34-Aghunato, 35-Zunheboto and 36-Satakha Assembly Constituencies has been prepared with reference to 1st January 2021 as the qualifying date and in accordance with Registration of Electoral Rules 1960.
This is to inform all the public under Mon District that Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls will be undertaken with 1st January 2021 as qualifying date. The Integrated Draft Electoral Roll will be published on the 16th November 2020 with a period for claims and objections from 16th November 2020 to 15th December 2020.

Mhathung Tsanglao has informed all the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) under Wokha District that the Election Commission has scheduled Special Campaign dates with regard to special summary revision of photo Electoral Rolls w.r.t 01/01/2021 as qualifying date.
