Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, District Task Force COVID - 19, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS issued an order on 11th July, 2021 stating that the existing lockdown measures shall remain in force in the district of Tuensang with the following additional relaxation with effect from 12th July to 17th July, 2021:

In compliance to the directive issued by the Home Department, NSDMA, Government of Nagaland Dated 09/07/2021 and in continuation to earlier order of even number dated 30/06/2021 issued by DC's Office Kohima, Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS has informed that 'Odd-Even' system for movement of private vehicles is implemented under Kohima Municipal Area as per Section 115 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988, on all days except Sundays, as mentioned hereunder:

       A meeting of the Kohima District Task Force on COVID-19 has been convened at 2:00 P.M on 13th July 2021 in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima.

Antony has informed that Toshi Wungtung, Member of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, elected from 58 - Shamator-Chessore Assembly Constituency, who was holding the charge of Advisor for the Departments of Information & Public Relations, SCERT and the Village Guards, passed away on 1stJuly, 2021 in New Delhi.
