In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, EAC Longshen, Imliwabang Aier , NCS on 30th June 2021, ordered the immediate sealing of House No.101, Yajong Morung, Yuching Village, till further order.

The closure of schools have been necessitated due to Covid-19 pandemic and it is felt that some students may be facing difficulties in enrolling themselves in the school within the specified time as given in the academic calendar 2021. In this regard, schools are allowed to admit late corners or anyone affected by the pandemic to resume their schooling.

A total of 140 beneficiaries from business community within Kohima recieved covid vaccine on 30th June 2021 during the 3rd phase of Vaccination drive organised by the Kohima District Task Force on COVID-19 in collaboration with Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
