DC MON CONSTITUTES COMMITTEE

Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS, notified that a committee has been constituted for examining opportunities for re-employment of returnees to Mon District from various parts of the country and enhancement of the local economy in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic with the following members:

1.      Sub-Divisional Officer (C) (Development) - Convener

2.      Sub-Divisional Officer (C) (Establishment) -Co-Convener

UGC GIRLS' HOSTEL AND PHOM LEMPONG SCHOOL QUARANTINE CENTRE DECLARED AS CONTAINMENT ZONES

In connection with detection of two positive COVID-19 cases one each from UGC Girls' Hostel Yingli College and Phom Lempong School Quarantine centre, Longleng the Deputy Commissioner Longleng, in the interest of Public Health and Safety, has declared the UGC Girls' Hostel Yingli College and Phom Lempong School as Containment Zone as defined in the Standard Operating procedure issued by the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland.

EAC ABOI NOTIFIES ON SOP UNDER ABOI & LONGCHING CIRCLE

Lithrila Sangtam, EAC Aboi has notified on SOP issued by DC Mon on 14th July 2020 which will be enforced under Aboi subdivision till further orders. All village councils under Aboi and Longching circle shall issue movement tokens (maximum 4 (four days) for those who will be coming to Aboi town on foot for genuine reasons. All other vehicular movement to Mon town/Aboi town shall be permitted only after obtaining necessary permit from the Aboi COVID-19 control room No.

BRIEFING ON COVID-19 ON 14TH JULY 2020 FOR NAGALAND BY PRINCIPAL SECRETARY, HOME

The full text is as follows:

 

“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 896. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Out of the 896 positive cases, the total active cases are 550, and 346 have recovered. As per the severity of symptoms, 535 active cases are asymptomatic and 15 active cases are mild.

LOCKDOWN EXTENDED TILL 31st JULY

In continuation of the chief secretary's Office Order, dated 29th June 2020, the existing guidelines with regard to the Lockdown in all parts of the State shall continue to remain operative in Nagaland further up till 31st July 2020.
