DC NOKLAK INFORMS ON ELECTRICITY USAGE

Deputy Commissioner, Noklak, Reny Wilfred, IAS in an order issued for the general information of public, business establishments, Public Institutions that due to the low generation of power/electricity from Hydro Generating Stations, there has been an acute shortfall in the power supply in the state. Therefore, public have been brought to awareness on judicious and optimum usage of electricity and to switch off avoidable electrical appliances when not in use. It is to be aware that heavy usage of power during this lean time can lead to breakdown of Transformer. 

In the light of the above, the public have been advised to switch from incandescent and CFL bulbs to energy efficient power lightning such as LED bulbs for power saving with immediate effect, DC stated. 

Non-compliance of this order shall lead to Confiscation of bulb/s and appropriate action initiated as deemed fit.
