The 78th Independence Day was celebrated at Aghunato with MLA, Kuzholuzu Nienu as the chief guest.

He hoisted the National Flag and inspected the parade. Lukikhe Shevishe women folk showcased a cultural presentation. 

At the end of the program, exhibition stalls were inaugurated by the Chief Guest.
