Dharti Aaba Janbhangidari Abhiyan, a nationwide awareness-cum-saturation campaign for Medziphema sub-division, was launched at the City Centre, Medziphema on 24th June 2025. Various Government Departments namely Medical Department, RD/NSRLM, Social Welfare Department, Agriculture, Fisheries, Horticulture, Industries and Commerce, Food and Civil Supplies, District Manager, CSC, LDM and SCK participated in the campaign by providing information on schemes and gave general awareness of departmental activities to the tribal communities. A help desk was set up and free medicines were also distributed.
ADC Medziphema, P. James Swu, SDO-Civil, Tsalemla Sangtam, and EAC Vithwel Kweho supervised the camp. It witnessed active participation from all tribal beneficiaries of 9 villages under Medziphema sub-division namely Bunsang village, Molvom, Maova, Sochunuma, Tsephema, Phiphema, Ruzuphema, Pherima village, and Medziphema village.
The awareness and saturation camp was attended by all HoDs, NGOs, GBs, VCCs, VDBs, MTC and all 32 villages of Medziphema.
