RIO PRESENTS BUDGET FOR 2021-22

The Chief Minister of Nagaland who is also the Minister in Charge of Finance, Neiphiu Rio presented a Budget proposal estimating the gross receipt at Rs. 22,451.28 crore and gross expenditure at Rs. 22,816.61 crore for the financial year 2021-22 during his Budget speech at the ongoing Seventh session of the Thirteen NLA on 18th February 2021.

INITIATIVES OF SCHOOL EDUCATION HIGHLIGHTED AT THE ASSEMBLY

            On the fourth day of the 7th Session of the 13th NLA on 18 February, 2021, while replying to an unstarred question raised by MLA, Dr Chotisuh Sazo, Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio informed that Nagaland received 477,569 Qtls under PHH and 84,306 Qtls under AYY of rice from April to November, 2020 from the Government of India for free distribution to Ration Card holders in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
