A large number of our people including health workers, police, sanitation workers, etc are in the frontlines in our fight against COVID-19. It is of utmost importance that every kind of support and cooperation is extended to them so as to strengthen their capabilities and their resolve in the fight against COVID- 19. Any kind of harassment impacting the living or working conditions of such people will only weaken us.

Deputy Commissioner, Mon informed that a total amount of Rs.15,16,500 (Fifteen lakh sixteen thousand and Five hundred) only which was allotted to Mon District by the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Kohima for emergency relief of the victims affected by recent storm was distributed and handed over to the victims on 27th April 2020 at the Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall by the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman, DDMA, Mon, Th

In a noble gesture, the Mokokchung Cart Home delivery initiated by the District Administration Mokokchung donated fresh vegetables & Pulses to more than a hundred families in Mokokchung Town by delivering it to their doorstep.

District level training on COVID-19 was held at District Hospital Kiphire conference hall, on 30th April 2020.The training was given to the police personnel, doctors and veterinary doctors.
