STATE GOVERNMENT FREEZES DEARNESS ALLOWANCE AND DEARNESS RELIEF

In view of the crisis arising out of COVID-19 pandemic, the State Government has decided that the Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief to State Government employees and pensioners respectively due from 1st January 2020, 1st July 2020 and 1st January 2021 shall not be paid. However, they shall continue to be paid at the current rates till further order.

DC KOHIMA INFORMS

Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie NCS, has informed that in continuation to the earlier order dated Kohima the 19th of April 2020 and considering the overall prevailing situation within Kohima District and as a precautionary measure to encourage social distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, the lockdown measures in Kohima District will continue as notified earlier till the 3rd of May 2020.

DC MON INFORMS

Deputy Commissioner, Mon has informed all concerned that the Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCB) has agreed to allow the Village Council Chairman/Village Council Secretary/Village Development Board (VDB) Secretary to withdraw money on behalf of the villagers if they are unable to come to the bank themselves in the context of the present lockdown.

MEETING ON COVID-19 AT NOKLAK

A Sub-divisional Task force meeting was held in Noklak which was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner M.Chaitanya Prasad IAS. All the initiative taken sofar with regard to quarantine center upgradation, sanitation measure, patrolling duties and essential commodities was discussed with the members.
