DC DIMAPUR REITERATES ON BAN ON IMPORT OF PIGS
Having noticed pigs still being imported into the district despite the order issued by the Administration, banning import of pigs in Dimapur District from outside the state owing to outbreak of “African Swine Fever” and high mortality rate of pigs in the neighbouring states, DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi in an order reiterated that the ban on import of pigs from neighbouring states still stands.

DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS in pursuance of section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code-1973, whereas, COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in an institutional quarantine centre in Mon Town on 19th June 2020.

The State Emergency Operation Centre COVID-19 Control room Kohima has issued the report on Law & Order across the state as on 18th June, 2020. Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru stated in the report that, there were three (3) persons bound down.
