In partial notification issues by Nagaland Legislative Assembly on 17th June 2020 that Dr. P.J Anthony, Commissioner & Secretary has taken over the charge of the Administrative Head of Department (AHOD) in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat with effect from 1st June 2020.Henceforth, all official correspondence/Letters & Mails may be addressed to, Dr. P. J Anthony, Commissioner & Secretary Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Kohima.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rhosietho Nguori, NCS had informed 14 returnees from different parts of the country were received by Tening Sub Division on 24th June 2020.

The returnees were sent for home quarantine to their respective villages which includes one in Old Tesen; three in New Tesen; two in Upper Sinjol; two in Tening Town; two in Tepun; one at Old Nzau; two at Ntu and one in Nzauna.

“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 330. Out of this, the total active cases are 189, and 141 have recovered.

The monthly District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on 23rd June 2020 at Deputy Commissioner Conference hall Wokha. Chairman DPDB, Wokha and Advisor for Horticulture & Border Affairs, Mhathung Yanthan and MLA Dr. Chumben Murry attended the meeting. Vice - chairman & DC Wokha, Orenthung Lotha who chaired the meeting welcomed the new board members Assistant Development Commissioner (Planning) Nchubemo Kikon and Excise Inspector Phira.

Tuensang District Task Force for COVID 19 held meeting at DC Conference Hall Tuensang on 23rd if June 2020. The meeting was chaired by Kumar Ramnikant DC and Chairman DTF Tuensang. The members discussed to reduce the Quarantine Centres as per the intakes and number of inmates in the facilities by July and August this year. This is a prospective exercise to vacate the academic infrastructures now using as QCs in the district.
