The District Task Force was held an emergency meeting in Deputy Commissioner Mon on 24thJune 2020 led by Thavaseelan K. DC Mon wherein it was decided to enforce a total lockdown from 25th to 28th June 2020 in Mon District with the following condition:

“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 355. Out of this, the total active cases are 195, and 160 have recovered. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. As per the severity of symptoms, all the 195 active cases are asymptomatic.

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima has issued final order to all concerned to remove all standing structure and newly constructed structure within the demarcated RoW of the 2-Lane, Tseminyu Kohima Km 40/000 to Km 72/400 (erstwhile NH-61) within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of issue of this order dated 24th June 2020.

Administrator Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), Kovi Meyase has informed all business community within KMC jurisdiction, that the Government of Nagaland, Industries & Commerce Department is undertaking an online "Nagaland Enterprise Survey, 2020 to help Government in formulation of Policies for impacting the growth of enterprises in the State.
