“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 459. Out of this, the total active cases are 291, and 168 have recovered. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. As per the severity of symptoms, all the 291 active cases are asymptomatic.
Till date, a total of 12,161 samples have been tested. Results of 11,408 samples have been received.
The daily report on Law & Order and Facilitation of Essential Goods & Services stated that four violations of the lockdown were reported and as remedial step, seven persons were bound down as on 17th June. This was informed by Joint Secretary, Hiazu Meru and he added that no Law & Order incident has been reported in the State.
Commissioner & Secretary, NLA, Dr. P.J. Antony has informed that the Governor of Nagaland in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India has summoned the Sixth Session of the Thirteenth Nagaland Legislative Assembly to meet at 9:30 A.M. on Thursday, the 30th July, 2020 in the Assembly Hall, Kohima.
