Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, speaking at the inaugural programme of the 2nd Edition of North East India Festival, Bangkok on 30th June 2022 at Central World Complex, Bangkok stated that the second edition of the North East India Festival 2022 is being celebrated at Bangkok to mark India's 75 years of independence and diplomatic relationship with Thailand.

The Home Department has informed that to mark the 75 years of India's Independence and for the 'Har Ghar Tiranga ' campaign, the National Flags for which supply orders have been placed with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India will start arriving in Dimapur in a few days.
