In pursuance of the order issued by Home Department dated 9th June 2021 and in continuation of his order dated 12 may 2021, DC and Chairman DTF, Kiphire, Rahul Mali, IAShas issuedan order that the existing lockdown measures and directives shall continue to remain in force in Kiphire from 12th to 18thJune 2021 with the below mentioned additional directives:
- The practice of No Mask- No Movement and No Mask- No Entry will be strictly enforced by all concerned.
- Permitted shops and business establishment like vegetables, fish /meat vendors, milk booths, bakeries and local grocery stores shall be allowed to open between 6am to 2pm all days in week.
- Shops selling stationeries, mobile phones and computer accessories, hardware, garage for automobiles and shops selling vehicles spare parts shall be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and will be closed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- Regular religious service and gathering shall continue to be suspended. However, prayer meetings and fellowships may be allowed in religious places with not more than 20 persons.
- Administrative offices of schools/Colleges with a core group of officers /Staff shall be permitted to attend urgent and essential matters.
- Private business offices with a core group of officers /Staff may be permitted to attend urgent and essential matters with the prior permission of the DTF.
- Common service Centres (CSCs) in the district shall be permitted to open for IT support during Covid-19 vaccination.
- New construction works are permitted and fresh labourers shall be allowed as per provision under the revised SOP for returnees and travellers issued vide No.NSDMA-ER-Covid -19 /368 /2021/5274 dated 29th April 2021.
- Movement of vehicles carrying essential commodities /food items and medical supplies including Oxygen /Oxygen Cylinder and other medical equipment shall be allowed to continue.In addition light motor vehicles including taxis shall be allowed to ply with 50% occupancy as per existing SOP All taxi drivers shall need to get negative Covid test report for resumption if service. However bus service shall remain suspend.
The DTF in its meeting decided to undertake intensified Covid-19 Vaccination drive targeting shopkeepers,shop attendants, taxi/truck drivers.
Any persons /group of persons violating this order shall be deemed to have committed an offense punishable under section 188 of the Indian penal Code and relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act 2005.
