The general discussion on the budget presented by CM Neiphiu Rio began on 19th February, 2021.

            On the 85th Anniversary of Brahma Kumaris, the Kohima Centre of Brahman Kumari is organising a contest on the theme “Global Cooperation For A Better World” through Dance, Drama, Music and Painting. Chief Minister of Nagaland and Minister in Charge of Finance, Neiphiu Rio stated that the Budget for 2021-22 was people friendly while addressing the media after presenting the Budget for the year 2021-22 at the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on 18th Feb, 2021. 

The Chief Minister of Nagaland who is also the Minister in Charge of Finance, Neiphiu Rio presented a Budget proposal estimating the gross receipt at Rs. 22,451.28 crore and gross expenditure at Rs. 22,816.61 crore for the financial year 2021-22 during his Budget speech at the ongoing Seventh session of the Thirteen NLA on 18th February 2021.
