In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, ADC Aboi, Chumlamo Humstoe, NCS, on 29th May 2021 ordered the sealing of the following houses at Aboi Town:
DC PEREN ORDERS UNSEALING OF DISTRICT HOSPITAL, PEREN
Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS has ordered the unsealing of the Indoor Admission Block, District Hospital, Peren with effect from 7:00 AM, 31st May, 2021.
The DC further added that the sealed area shall be fumigated and properly sanitised as per existing SOPs and guidelines before it is unsealed.

DC PEREN INFORMS ON EXTENSION OF LOCKDOWN
Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS has informed that the ongoing Lockdown in the District has been extended till 11th June, 2021 and all such activities restricted/permitted as per the order shall continue to be operative till further order.
FREE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO ASSIST STUDENTS AND TEACHERS
The Directorate of School Education has notified for the information of all concerned that as a response to closure of schools due to COVID-19, M/s NagaEd has curated the below mentioned free educational resources to assist Students and Teachers in continuing education.
TOTAL LOCKDOWN AT CHOZUBA FROM 1st JUNE
In view of the surge in Covid-19 cases in Chozuba town for the past weeks and in order to carry out extensive contact tracing and break the chain of transmission of covid-19, ADC and chairman, Block Task Force for Covid-19 Chozuba, Theodore Yanthan, has ordered for total lockdown from 1st June till 4th June 2021.
DC KOHIMA INFORMS ON EXTENSION OF LOCKDOWN
The Deputy Commissioner & Chairman, District Task Force Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has informed that in continuation to the Office order of even number Dated 21st May 2021 and in compliance to the directive of the High Powered Committee on COVID-19 vide No. GAB-I/COM/GEN- 4/2020, Dated 28th May 2021 the Total Lockdown to contain and prevent the spread of COVID- 19 shall continue within Kohima District with existing Guidelines, till 11th June 2021.
