In view of detection and confirmation of COVID-19 positive case and in the larger interest of Public health and safety, DC Wokha ordered the sealing of House No.112 at Etsuchukha Colony, below National Highway 61, Wokha has hereby sealed with effect from 10th May 2021, till further order.

In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, ADC Naginimora Vineet Kumar, IAS on 10th May 2021 ordered the sealing of Primary Health Centre, Ward No. 09, Naginimora for Forty Eight (48) hours, with immediate effect.

World Red Cross Day was observed at Wokha on 8th May 2021 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Jean Henry Dunant, the founder of Red Cross Society. The Day also signifies appreciation for the volunteers who are always ready to help the needy, through the contribution of the volunteers it gives hopes to the humanity the theme for this year celebration is “Together we are unstoppable”.
