The 111 battalion BSF, Satakha celebrated its 57th Raising Day on 1st December 2021. The celebration commenced on 25th November and culminated on 1st December 2021. During the week-long celebration, various activities such as games and sports, literary events in schools, plantation drives and exhibition of weapons and equipments were conducted in the interest of the local people. The culmination program included various cultural items, showcasing the rich heritage of the force and was followed by traditional feast during which Ex-CAPF, families of BSF martyrs, civil dignitaries were invited and all the battalion personnel participated. Commandant, 111Bn BSF, Sanjay Tandan welcomed all the guests present on the occasion and vote of thanks was delivered by Second-in-Command, Rajeev Ranjan Sinha.
