The 126 birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was observed in Ruzazho village in Phek district with Maj Gen. Vikas Lakhera, SM, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) on 18th January 2023.

Lakhera said Netaji visited Ruzazho in 1944 and marked it as a historic village for Nagaland and India. He said the Indian Army stands for the achievement of freedom. Lakhera recalled Netaji Memorial Development in Nagaland was for the people.

Cekrolhu Swuro (living witness of Netaji) released balloons. Welcome addressed was pronounced by Sesato Swuro, Chairman of Ruzazho Village Council. Subhashji Subhashji- Jazz Band 1 AR and Cultural Group were performed. Nyamok N. Konyak, Extra Assistant Commissioner proposed a vote of thanks.
