Celebrating the 12th Voters’ Day, a programme was held at the Conference Hall of ADC (Planning), Mokokchung on 25th January 2022, under the Theme “Making election inclusive, accessible & participative.”

In the programme, video footage of Chief Election Commissioner’s speech was screened, which was followed by presentation of Best BLO Award and felicitation of Online Essay Competition Winners and newly elected voters.

Administration of Voters’ Pledge was carried out by Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mokokchung, Limawapang Jamir, who congratulated the BLOs for their hard work and dedication, and also congratulated the newly elected voters, asking them to judiciously utilize their voting rights.

Winners of the Online Essay Writing Competition are: First position, Sentilemla Aier of Queen Mary Higher Secondary School (QMHSS), Second Position, Kilangzulu of (QMHSS), Third Position, Takanaro Walling of Jubilee Memorial School.
