Pughoboto sub-division celebrated National Voters’ Day under the theme 'Making elections inclusive, accessible and participative’ at the DB Court Hall, Pughoboto on 25th January 2022.

ADC & DEO Pughoboto, Thungchanbemo Tungoe while welcoming and congratulating the newly enrolled voters, urged them to take the EPIC as weapon to choose a good leader. He also encouraged the BLOs to continue giving cooperation to the DEO, ERO, and AERO and the staff.

SDO (C) and ERO, Longasen Lotha who briefed on the significance of NVD, said the main purpose of NVD is to encourage new voters by publishing and maximizing enrolment, exercising their votes. He also encouraged all the new voters to exercise their votes with clean judgement, to bring positive changes and all round development in their constituency.

ADC & DEO also administered the pledge and distributed the EPIC to the newly enrolled voters. The Best BLO 2021-22, Pughoboto sub-division was awarded to Kevishe Tsuipu from polling station Laza Izuqa. Altogether, 433 new voters enrolled. The programme was chaired by EAC & AERO, Pughoboto, Nitile Tep.
