The programme for the 12th National Voters’ Day 2022 was held at Town Hall Tuensang in collaboration with Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Tuensang on 25th January 2022. The programme was held with the theme "Making election inclusive, accessible and participative."

Kumar Ramnikant, DC and DEO Tuensang spoke on the relevance of the theme, appreciating the idea of including people aged 18 and above as genuine voters. He said that EPIC is not just an ID card but it assists the citizens in electoral process and its rights.

Saotola, District SVEEP Icon in her short speech said that the malpractices in the election processes hampers the rights of the citizens, and each voter must keep oneself away from malpractices and choose their leaders wisely.

The prize distribution for quiz competition was awarded to team Sao Chang Government College in the first position, team St. John Higher Secondary School and team Loyem Memorial College in second and third places respectively.  The winners of the photo campaign were S. Nyimang 51A/C and R. Khumkiumong 58A/C. The Best Performing BLO were also awarded as per the assembly constituencies: M. Kelep PT/GPS Tali for 51A/C, Meyasepong PT/GPS Chungliyimti 52 A/C, O. Changlem Assistant Fishery Inspector for 53A/C, R. Kheanshi PT/GPS Kuthur for 54 A/C and L. Rejing I/C GPS Muleangkiur for 58 A/C.

The NVD pledge was hosted by Rohit Singh, SDO (C), welcome note was addressed by Renben Mozhui, Assistant Election Officer Tuensang, while Songmao M, Women Welfare Officer DLC for Women (BBBP) and NVD Message from ECI was also displayed at the function.
