On September 21, 2023, a 15-day training program on handloom dyeing, sponsored by DC (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, was conducted under the Samarth Programme. The training session was organized at Sapra Khusoh's Workshed, located in Yoruba village, within Phek district, Nagaland.

Cholzo Sophie, General Manager of the District Industries Centre (DIC) in Chozuba, was in attendance during the training. Ministry officials were also present to oversee the program.

The initiative is part of the Samarth Programme's efforts to empower artisans and weavers with valuable skills in handloom dyeing. This training program not only enhances the knowledge and capabilities of individuals involved in the handloom sector but also contributes to the preservation and promotion of traditional craftsmanship in the region.
