The 17th Nsong Village Block Tournament kicked off on 5th January 2022 at Nsong Village with Iteigong Kauring PS to Advisor, Water Resource as the special guest. 

Expressing gratitude to everyone present in the program, Iteigong spoke on the importance of sports and urged the youth to be more disciplined, and added that the Government is working hard to promote young talents from the State.

He also spoke on the various developmental activities that the people from the area have witnessed under the leadership of Namri Nchang, he called upon the village members to be more optimistic in judging what is right and wrong and abstain from spreading false propaganda, and urged the people to be united to face challenges. He encouraged the leaders of the village and its area leaders to seriously take up the Tening- Lekie road issue.

The program was chaired by President Nsong Village youth Organization, Samhing Riame: welcome address by Vice President NVYO, Tarai Riame; invocation was pronounced by Ipetsing Pame and vote of thanks was delivered by Kugiak Newme.
