1st Phom Monyu Volleyball Trophy, organised by Dimapur Phom Students' Union, under the theme 'Breaking Barriers' was held at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur on 31st March 2021 with Personal Secretary to Minister Health & Family Welfare, L. Imtizulu Phom as the Special Guest.

            Speaking on the occasion, he encouraged all the students to go forward with their dreams and passions. He called upon the youths to venture into different fields where one can prosper and build their future without limiting one-self only to Government jobs. He also urged upon the younger generation to live in unity and put effort to preserve one's tradition.

            Welcome note was delivered by President, DPSU, Y. Enyuh Phom. Monyiu Asshu Ohen by Tamlu Buhu Laivangh Hoichem Dimapur. Oath was administered by Games & Sports Secretary, P. Baulong Phom and the program was chaired by C. Phanglung and Kunlung Phom.
