To revive the dying indigenous game, the Department of Tribal Affairs organized the 2nd Edition of the Catapult Target Competition 2022 sponsored by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama on 3rd December 2022.

A total of 18 participants representing the Cultural Troupe of Zeliang, Sumi, Rengma, Pochury, Kachari, Ao, Kuki, and Chakhesang participated in the competition.  

The winners of the competition were Imnasunep Ao, Akumnungchet Ao, and Kamminhao Kuki. They were declared as the winner, first runners-up, and second runners-up respectively, and were awarded cash prizes of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 7,000/- and 5,000/- respectively along with certificates.
